Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Larry Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clark has chosen Silversun Pickups - Comeback Kid as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson slips a straight right by Clark.
Clark misses with a double jab.
Josh Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clark lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
Johnson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Horrible takedown by Clark or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad.
Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Clark swivels and escapes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Clark looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Clark shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Johnson counters by moving into the clinch.
Clark is trying to break the clinch but Johnson is controlling him.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Clark pushes Johnson off but Johnson dives into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Johnson grinds an elbow into Clark's temple.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clark is trying to control Johnson's posture but Johnson avoids it.
Clark is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Johnson slips a jab and a cross from Clark.
Clark tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily

and Johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Johnson wants to control from the top but Clark keeps moving.
Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clark on the ground.

Clark has his feet on Johnson's thighs here. He's pushed Johnson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Johnson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
