The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Azevedo.
Azevedo throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Azevedo throws and low kick but Jones moves out of range easily.
Azevedo looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Azevedo moves out of range easily.
Azevedo misses with a double jab.
Azevedo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Azevedo throws a head kick that misses
and Jones moves into the clinch.
Azevedo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Azevedo is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks.
Azevedo working hard to break the clinch.
A knee to the head by Jones.
Jones lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Jones tries a knee to the head but Azevedo blocks it.
Jones manages to pull guard.
Azevedo is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him.
Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Azevedo stands up from Jones's guard - Azevedo perhaps looking for a knockout.
Azevedo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jones pushes Azevedo up against the cage in a clinch.
Jones connects with a nasty looking knee right to Azevedo's face.
Jones goes for a takedown in the clinch but Azevedo prevents it.
Jones manages to break the clinch.
Azevedo misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely.
The fighters circle momentarily. Azevedo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A combination from Azevedo does no damage.
Azevedo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jones counters with a leg kick.
Azevedo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jones in his tracks.
Azevedo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Azevedo throws a lazy body kick
and Jones counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jones thows a big elbow that misses.
Jones with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Azevedo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.
Jones postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Jones stops Azevedo from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Azevedo looks gassed!
Jones drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jones seems to have locked his on tight now - Azevedo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jones, as he picks up the win!
