Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Echo Echo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cole has chosen Wonderfull Days as his entrance music. Echo Echo had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Echo Echo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Cole!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole lands a body shot.

Echo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cole napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cole is looking for a sweep.
Cole is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Echo avoids a punch combination nicely.

Echo looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Echo passes Cole's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Cole looking for submissions off his back.
Echo trying to control the action but Cole is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Echo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cole is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Cole is pressing down on Echo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Echo drops back looking for a leg! Cole is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cole manages to kick Echo off! Echo jumps back into Cole's guard.

Echo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cole has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Echo has managed to get both his arms back between Cole's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cole looks gassed!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Echo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Echo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Echo throwing shots but Cole is blocking nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cole is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Echo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cole defend it? Echo steps over the head and cranks it - Cole is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Echo!
