Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andy Dufresne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristiano Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Riot by three days grace as his entrance music. Cristiano Silva has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Andy Dufresne's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dufresne shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Dufresne is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dufresne.
Dufresne looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Silva with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dufresne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dufresne wants to stand but Silva has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Silva isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dufresne stacks Silva on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dufresne!

Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dufresne is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dufresne's back instead.

Dufresne tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Silva moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dufresne has worked his arm free - good work by Dufresne!

Silva has hold of Dufresne's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dufresne seems comfortable defending it but Silva has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dufresne is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dufresne is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Silva couldn't care less - he's delighted!
