Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between MJ Rockton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Toyoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockton comes to the cage accompanied by Organ Donor. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Toyoku decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Toyoku feints and as Rockton raises his hands in defense, Toyoku changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Toyoku drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Toyoku jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Toyoku accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rockton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Toyoku is pushing down on Rockton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rockton is fighting to maintain full guard but Toyoku has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Toyoku connects with a nice short shot to Rockton's temple.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Toyoku is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Rockton's shoulder. That is not cool.
Rockton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Toyoku wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Rockton tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Toyoku has hold of Rockton's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Rockton tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Toyoku cranks the arm and Rockton screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Rockton, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
