PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Already Unconscious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pyyno Janis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rubber Johnny. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pyyno Janis!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Unconscious feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Janis throws a right hand that Unconscious ducks under and follows up with a left that Unconscious also avoids with ease.

That's time! Unconscious's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Janis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Unconscious tries to avoid it but Janis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Unconscious to the ground. Unconscious escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Janis.
Janis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Unconscious as he avoids it easily.
Already Unconscious has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pyyno Janis.
