The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierce fails in his attempt to clinch.

Kustavilainen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kustavilainen prevents Pierce from improving his position.
Kustavilainen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pierce keeps working.

Kustavilainen stands up and beckons Pierce to join him on the feet.
Kustavilainen shoots in but no luck this time.
Kustavilainen is looking to clinch.
Pierce tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kustavilainen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kustavilainen has managed to clinch.
Kustavilainen goes for a takedown attempt but Pierce pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kustavilainen blocks a head kick by Pierce.

Pierce lands a big head kick that sends Kustavilainen tumbling to the mat! Pierce takes a step backwards and waves Kustavilainen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kustavilainen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pierce swats away the attempt to clinch by Kustavilainen.
The fighters circle, before Pierce throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kustavilainen's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Pierce lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
