Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Meadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boom Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boom Pow acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boom Pow!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meadows ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Meadows swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pow lands with a straight right. Meadows didn't see that one coming.
A head kick from Meadows lands but Pow takes it in his stride.
Meadows just misses with a punch to the body.
Meadows displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pow.
Pow tries to clinch there but Meadows circles away.
Meadows looks to land a body kick but Pow moved away.

Pow darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Pow is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pow wants to pass the guard but Meadows is defending well.

Pow is looking for a kimura but Meadows is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pow to get the leverage.
Pow uses his free foot to push down on Meadows's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Meadows.

Pow working for a guillotine from mount but Meadows is in no mood to give up.

Pow has control of Meadows's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Meadows regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Meadows on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Meadows tries to get out of the position.
Pow looks gassed!
Meadows tries to hold on but Pow pushes him away.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Meadows sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Meadows wants to get back to full guard.
Meadows is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Pow seems to be looking for submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Meadows lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pow has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pow and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Pow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Meadows as he jumps to the side.

Meadows rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Meadows stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A decent looking cross lands there for Meadows.

Meadows is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
