Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Murth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Valdez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murth kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Enemy. Valdez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. so amazing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Julian Valdez is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Murth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Julian Valdez!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murth has Valdez up against the ropes in a clinch.

Murth pulls guard.

Murth had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Valdez defends it easily.

Murth has his foot on Valdez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Valdez works his way back into a safe position though.
Valdez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Valdez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Valdez throwing strikes but missing.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Valdez throws a strike but Murth rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Valdez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Valdez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Murth gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Valdez looks gassed!
Murth trying to control the position from guard on top but Valdez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Valdez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Valdez keeping full guard, as Murth tries to pass.
Murth working some strikes from top position.
Murth is in close to Valdez's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Murth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valdez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Valdez can't keep his opponent in guard - Murth advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Murth is working for a submission of some sort.

Murth is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Valdez is just riding it out for now. Murth eventually gives up the hold.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Murth wants to free his trapped foot but Valdez is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Valdez is staying active underneath Murth, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Murth looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Murth lands strikes from half guard.

Valdez looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Valdez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Murth pulls his head out easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Murth scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Murth is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Valdez is looking to improve his position.
Murth is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Murth wants to control but Valdez is keeping him busy.

Murth looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Murth looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Valdez has hold of Murth's hands but Murth slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Valdez won't allow Murth to pass to mount.

Murth seems to be working for a kimura but Valdez defends the submission attempt.

Murth maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Valdez could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Murth has cracked it and Valdez is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Murth!
