Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Pascual (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pascual takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Miller connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Pascual momentarily.
It looks like Phillip Pascual has been cut.
Miller lands a glancing blow to the side of Pascual's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miller throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pascual on the side of the head.
Pascual throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Miller lands a jab to Pascual's midsection.
Miller lands a nice shot that snaps Pascual's head back.
Pascual checks the leg kick.
Miller drops Pascual with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pascual looks back up at him and smiles so Miller waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Pascual is rocked!
Miller misses with a hook.
Pascual is still on wobbly legs! Can Miller finish him?

Pascual drops his hands momentarily. Miller doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Pascual staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Pascual doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jackson Miller!
