The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson shoots for a takedown but Bigsnake saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bigsnake closes the distance and clinches.
Wilson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bigsnake pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bigsnake gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wilson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wilson wants to pass the guard but Bigsnake is keeping the position.
Wilson stands up over Bigsnake, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bigsnake wants to stand and escape but Wilson is having none of it.
Bigsnake is breathing heavily.

Wilson stalks Bigsnake and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bigsnake's face. Bigsnake staggers backwards, shaken.
Wilson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Wilson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wilson wants it to stay on the feet.

Wilson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bigsnake has him pressed against the cage.

Bigsnake jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wilson walks away with a smile on his face. Bigsnake gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wilson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bigsnake fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilson manages to avoid it.

and Bigsnake decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wilson's guard.
Bigsnake looking to sit in guard and control but Wilson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Wilson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bigsnake swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
