Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jiu Jiet Siet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jonas Erikson!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siet avoids the head kick by Erikson.
Erikson throws a head kick but Siet moves out of range.
Siet misses with a takedown attempt - Erikson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Siet tries to clinch there but Erikson circles away.
Siet throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Erikson's waist but Erikson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Siet off to one side.
Erikson lands a left and a right that send Siet crashing to the mat, dazed. Erikson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Siet is rocked!
It looks like Jiu Jiet Siet has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Erikson feints a jab and as Siet dips his head, Erikson unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Siet right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Siet falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Erikson smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jonas Erikson!
