Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rypien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Guavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guavo has chosen Jizz In My Pants as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Eddie Guavo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rypien stuffs the takedown.
Guavo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rypien looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Guavo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rypien is fending him off so far but Guavo persists. Nope, Rypien circles away and we're back to standing.

Guavo seems to be working for a kimura but Rypien defends the submission attempt.

Guavo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rypien is just riding it out for now. Guavo eventually gives up the hold.

Rypien is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rypien tries to lock up and control but Guavo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rypien wants to hold on but Guavo pushes him away.

Guavo throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Rypien bucks up and throws Guavo to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Guavo ducks under a wild hook from Rypien.
Rypien leaves Guavo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rick Rypien seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Guavo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rypien throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Guavo sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Rypien drops Guavo with a beautiful combination! Guavo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rypien is looking for the KO!

Rypien is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Guavo hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
