The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sliva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Goodwin circles away.
Sliva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goodwin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sliva somewhat.

Sliva manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Sliva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Goodwin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sliva.

Sliva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Goodwin is just riding it out for now. Sliva eventually gives up the hold.

Sliva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Sliva maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Goodwin could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Sliva has cracked it and Goodwin is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Sliva!
