Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dante Lucien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Mako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucien's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kiss - All Hell's Breaking Loose. Mako has chosen The Last Emperor as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dante Lucien!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Mako!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucien throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Lucien steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mako.

Mako ducks under a wild hook from Lucien.
Lucien bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mako's head.
Lucien swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lucien fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mako manages to avoid it.
Mako misses with a straight left.
Lucien lands a really nice looking cross but Mako seems unphased.
Lucien throws a jab when Mako was well out of range.
Lucien digs a good hook to Mako's body.
Mako scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Mako shoots in and bounces Lucien off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lucien keeping moving, preventing Mako from controlling successfully.
Mako tries to free his leg and advance position but Lucien is retaining full guard.
Lucien is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mako trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lucien had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mako is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lucien Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mako's back instead.
Lucien looking to break Mako's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Mako remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Lucien will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Mako wants to get back to his feet.
You can see the frustration on Mako's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Mako manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Lucien is now in side control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lucien ducks under a wild hook from Mako.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mako keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lucien misses with a double jab
and Mako counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mako misses with an uppercut.
Lucien lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Mako closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Dante Lucien is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lucien throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mako counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lucien is breathing heavily.
Lucien misses with a hook.
Lucien looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Lucien takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lucien throws an overhand right that lands on Mako's shoulder, as Mako tries to avoid the shot.
Mako feints a jab and as Lucien dips his head, Mako unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Lucien right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Lucien falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Mako smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). George Mako!
