PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Orr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Semin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rob Semin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orr wants to clinch up but Semin keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Orr looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Orr looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Semin puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Semin seems to be looking for submissions.
Orr wants to improve his position but Semin is controlling well.

Semin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Orr's waist but Orr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Semin off to one side.

Semin keeps control of Orr as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Semin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Orr pulls his leg out and moves away.

Orr lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Orr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Semin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Orr throws a right and a left that Semin avoids nicely.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
A head kick misses from Orr.
Semin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Orr counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Orr wants to improve his position but Semin is controlling well.

Semin is working for a kimura but Orr is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bradley Orr will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Orr tries to clinch but Semin is having none of it.
Semin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Orr circles away.

Bradley Orr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Orr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Orr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Semin is working away from the top position though.

Semin stands up and beckons Orr to join him on the feet.

Orr throws a hook to the side of Semin's head but Semin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Semin feints and as Orr raises his hands in defense, Semin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Orr is trying to keep Semin in close.
Semin lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Semin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Semin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Semin drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Semin as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Orr screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Semin! Nice submission victory there!
