The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
power lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
power lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
power throws a sloppy head kick and star moves out of range easily.
Nice sprawl there from power as star shoots in.

and power connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like quick star has been cut.
star looks gassed!
power throws a series of punches but star avoids them all with ease.
power scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

star shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
power is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst star is controlling him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

power fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt star.

star is taking a breather. power says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
star is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
power is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

power is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst star is controlling him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
power trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

power is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

star jumps guard and drags power to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
