Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tito MC (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MC comes to the cage accompanied by La Raza V.3. Dr Jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MC shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.

MC thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
MC is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
MC is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him.

MC not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
MC loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Jones cracks MC with a big elbow.
MC wants to get back to his feet but Jones drags him back down.
MC is breathing heavily.
Jones in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
MC avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jones.
Jones cracks MC with a big right hand but MC just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Jones tries for a kimura but MC is defending well.
Jones misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Jones works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but MC is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jones creates some space and throws a big elbow, but MC sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Jones wants the takedown. MC is fighting it off but Jones persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in MC's guard against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dr Jones dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
Jones throws a lazy right hand but MC sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from MC.

MC is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard.
MC wants to stand but Jones has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
MC could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Jones is concentrating on defense, preventing MC from advancing position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
MC keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MC throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
MC thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jones misses with a takedown
and MC counters with a three punch combo that has Jones backing up. Jones nods at MC to acknowledge the strikes.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Tito MC has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dr Jones.
MC throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jones throws a sloppy strike and MC has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Jones is forced to tap! Great BJJ from MC!
