Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ieata Lotapewp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joseph misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Joseph with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Mitchell Joseph seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Joseph feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Joseph has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lotapewp is proving hard to escape from.
Joseph stops Lotapewp from standing up.
Joseph trying to control the position from guard on top but Lotapewp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Joseph wanted to stand there but Lotapewp had control of the position.

Lotapewp is looking to sweep but instead, Joseph has passed into half guard.
Joseph wants to stand but Lotapewp has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Joseph! Lotapewp is out on his feet! Joseph rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Lotapewp is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Lotapewp is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitchell Joseph!
