PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Wheeler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wheeler might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Don't Damn Me. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Barry Henderson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wheeler avoids it really well and circles away.

Wheeler darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Henderson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Henderson tries to kick Wheeler off but Wheeler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Wheeler trying to mount his opponent but Henderson defends it.
Wheeler is keen to just control but Henderson is a slippery customer.

Wheeler is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Henderson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Wheeler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Henderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Henderson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Wheeler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Henderson is just riding it out for now. Wheeler eventually gives up the hold.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wheeler connects with a nice short shot to Henderson's temple.

Henderson is trying to stand back up but Wheeler is controlling him

Wheeler stops Henderson from getting back to his feet.
Wheeler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Henderson keeps working.
Henderson is looking to escape.

Wheeler is trying to work for a kimura but Henderson is defending well.
Wheeler is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Henderson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Wheeler manages to mount him!

Wheeler fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Wheeler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Henderson tries to buck Wheeler off so he can stand up but Wheeler has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Henderson falls backwards, slamming Wheeler to the mat but Wheeler holds on tight! Henderson is forced to tap and this one is all over!
