The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hall looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.
Hall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jones on the side of the head.

It looks like Jimmy Jones has been cut.

Hall leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hall. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hall pinned against the cage. Hall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Damon Hall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Hall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hall has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.
Hall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jones is proving hard to escape from.

I would just about give that final round to Damon Hall.
Well Hall has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
