The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blunts tries to clinch up.
Blunts fails with a takedown attempt.
Blunts shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kloss sprawls well. Kloss wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blunts gets slowly back to his feet.
Blunts slips a straight right by Kloss.
Blunts shoots in looking for a takedown. Kloss tries to sprawl out of it but Blunts keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kloss manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Blunts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kloss fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kloss manages to pull guard.
Blunts prevents Kloss from getting back to his feet.
Blunts could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Blunts gets to his feet. Kloss looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
The fight stays on the outside here - Blunts looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kloss shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A telegraphed right hand from Kloss misses the target.
A combination from Kloss does no damage.
Jimmy Blunts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blunts throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kloss counters with a flying knee that drops Blunts! Kloss dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
