Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Harrison Ovaltine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jokke Hansseen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ovaltine's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rammstein - Sonne. Jokke Hansseen acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Harrison Ovaltine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jokke Hansseen!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ovaltine has closed the distance and engaged Hansseen in a clinch.
Ovaltine tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hansseen avoids it.
A left hand lands to the body for Ovaltine.
Ovaltine putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Hansseen in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Ovaltine lands a nice knee to the body.
Hansseen fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Ovaltine tries a knee to the head but Hansseen blocks it.

Ovaltine controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Hansseen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Ovaltine wants to stand but Hansseen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Ovaltine drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hansseen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ovaltine has Hansseen in his guard.

Hansseen wants to take a breather but Ovaltine is having none of it.

Ovaltine is looking for a sweep. Hansseen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hansseen wants to work for an arm triangle but Ovaltine is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Hansseen is looking for a kimura here.
Ovaltine is trying to stand up here but Hansseen is controlling him well.
Hansseen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Hansseen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ovaltine can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ovaltine tries to lock up and control but Hansseen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hansseen goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ovaltine is on top in guard.

Ovaltine decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ovaltine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Hansseen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

No luck for Hansseen with that takedown attempt.
Ovaltine keeps Hansseen at a distance using the push kick.

Hansseen wants to improve his position but Ovaltine is controlling well.

Hansseen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hansseen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hansseen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ovaltine!

Ovaltine wants to control but Hansseen is having none of it.

Hansseen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ovaltine defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
Hansseen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ovaltine's guard.

Hansseen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ovaltine doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hansseen.
Ovaltine has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hansseen is working away from the top position though.

Jokke Hansseen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Hansseen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hansseen there as he acknowledges the shot.

Ovaltine has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hansseen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ovaltine avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Ovaltine tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hansseen avoids it.

Hansseen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ovaltine walks away with a smile on his face. Hansseen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Harrison Ovaltine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jokke Hansseen.

Hansseen has managed to clinch.

Hansseen ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hansseen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Ovaltine wants to get up but he can't break Hansseen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hansseen takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
