Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between joshua johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Hust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, joshua johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, George Hust!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
johnson takes one to the chin there.
johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Hust. Hust gets slowly back to his feet.
No joy there for johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hust bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps johnson's head backwards.
Hust throws a right and a left that johnson avoids nicely.
johnson fails with the takedown
enabling Hust to counter with a crisp jab.
Hust throws a combination but it was largely blocked by johnson.

and Hust counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for johnson!
Hust wants to control the pace but johnson is squirming around nicely.
Hust really doesn't want to stay on the ground with johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
johnson wants to hold on but Hust pushes him away.
Hust controlling the position easily from mount.

johnson tries to lock up and control but Hust gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hust takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Hust avoids the attempt from johnson to control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
johnson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Hust controlling the pace for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Despite being in the dominant position, George Hust just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hust works over johnson's head and body with a nice combination.

Hust shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. johnson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hust controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
johnson wants to stand and escape but Hust is having none of it.
johnson is breathing heavily.

Hust tries to stand but johnson is controlling from the bottom.
Hust postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
johnson trying to keep a closed guard but Hust is proving a slippery customer.
johnson looking for a sweep. Not yet johnson, not yet.

johnson looking for a guillotine here but Hust defends easily.
Hust wants to get up but he can't break johnson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hust trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

johnson is working an open guard so Hust takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hust.
Hust lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hust lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hust stalks johnson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into johnson's face. johnson staggers backwards, shaken.

Hust works over johnson's head and body with a nice combination.

johnson is rocked!
Hust will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oh johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hust cracks johnson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and johnson falls backwards against the cage. Hust follows up with more strikes that drop johnson to his knees. Hust keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save johnson! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Hust!
