Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terrance Fortuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortuna tries to clinch up but Hayes circles away and keeps his distance.
Fortuna looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Terrance Fortuna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fortuna shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hayes sprawls well. Hayes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fortuna gets slowly back to his feet.
Hayes dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hayes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hayes throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fortuna.

It looks like Terrance Fortuna has been cut.

Fortuna tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hayes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fortuna somewhat.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Fortuna. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

and Fortuna counters with a single leg into guard. Hayes didn't expect that.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fortuna closes the distance but Hayes moves to the side

and Hayes counters by clinching up.

Hayes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hayes stalks Fortuna and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fortuna's face. Fortuna staggers backwards, shaken.

Hayes closes the distance and pushes Fortuna back into the cage.

Fortuna is working for takedown but Hayes is calmly controlling the position for now.
Hayes crunches a lovely knee into Fortuna's ribcage.

Hayes manages to break the clinch.
Fortuna swats away the attempt to clinch by Hayes.
Fortuna misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hayes counters with a head kick. That will keep Fortuna thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Terrance Fortuna's cut is getting worse.
Fortuna gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hayes counters with a body kick that stops Fortuna in his tracks momentarily.
Hayes tries to close the distance and clinch but Fortuna swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hayes scores with a one two! Fortuna had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Hayes throws a head kick that half lands.
Hayes lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Hayes delivers a nice body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fortuna takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Hayes has closed the distance and engaged Fortuna in a clinch.

Hayes wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Hayes's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hayes gets underhooks to prevent Fortuna's takedown attempt.
Hayes connects with a knee to the head.

Terrance Fortuna's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Hayes breaks the clinch.
Hayes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Hayes ducks under a wild hook from Fortuna.

Fortuna drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hayes wants to get back to his feet but Fortuna is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fortuna throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hayes works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fortuna trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Fortuna has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hayes is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Fortuna cracks Hayes with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fortuna is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Fortuna extends the arm and Hayes is forced to tap!
