Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nishi Amake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randall circles away from the clinch attempt.

Randall gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Amake prevents the takedown attempt.
Amake is trying to break the clinch but Randall has him pressed against the cage.
Randall misses with a knee to the head.
Randall has Amake pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Amake manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Randall has picked Amake up - he's going for a ride! Randall dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Randall in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Amake is looking to escape.
Randall is trying to control. Amake wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Amake wants to get back to his feet but Randall is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Randall postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Amake avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Randall wants to control from the top but Amake keeps moving.
Randall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Randall controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Amake wanted to stand there but Randall had control of the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Randall takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Amake closes the distance but Randall moves to the side

Randall is pressing down on Amake's thigh, looking to free his foot. Amake is holding on for now.
Amake slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Randall looking to sit in guard and control but Amake gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Amake trying to control the position from guard on top but Randall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Amake tries to stand but Randall is controlling from the bottom.
Amake missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Amake has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Randall is proving hard to escape from.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Randall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Randall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Randall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amake swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Randall chips away with some ground and pound.
Randall is looking to work some ground and pound but Amake has wrist control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Randall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Amake is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Randall is controlling him.

Amake is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Randall is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Amake is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Randall trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Amake doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Dan Randall has got the better of the ground game so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Randall distracts Amake with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Amake has an Americana. Randall didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Amake is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Amake hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
