PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mexhe Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Yung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain throws a head kick that misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yung cracks Cain with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Yung jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Cain manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yung throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cain.

and Yung decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cain's guard.

Yung drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yung jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cain wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Yung manages to pass to side control.

Cain isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Yung stacks Cain on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Yung!

Sonny Yung showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Cain's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Yung looks to land a combination. Cain sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Yung misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
You can see the frustration on Cain's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Yung slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Cain might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cain is on top in guard.

Sonny Yung is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Yung has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Cain should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Yung has tightened it up now! Cain should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
