Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grodon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gado fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gado shoots in for a takedown but Grodon shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zahir Gado. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Grodon tries to clinch there but Gado circles away.
Grodon lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gado's sensitive parts.
Grodon avoids the head kick by Gado.
Grodon connects with a solid leg kick.
Gado will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gado is breathing heavily.

Grodon clinches.
Grodon has Gado pushed against the cage.
Grodon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gado.
Grodon with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Gado takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Zahir Gado has been cut.
The referee calls for Grodon to work.
Grodon lands an elbow inside.
Grodon lands a knee to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gado takes an elbow to the forehead.
Grodon tries to land a knee to the head but Gado blocks with his arms.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grodon landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Gado pulls Grodon into guard.
Gado wants to sweep here but Grodon controlling him for the moment.
Gado is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gado is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Grodon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gado.

Grodon pushes Gado off, looking to escape but Gado dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Grodon is forced to tap! The fight is over!
