Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Waters tries to bench press Lowe off him but Lowe keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Waters's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lowe looking to control but instead Waters has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Waters is not content to let Lowe control the position.
Waters blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lowe.
Waters is trying to control but can't.
Lowe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Waters tries to get to full guard but Lowe has control of the leg.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Waters drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Waters working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lowe's head.

Lowe looking for a sweep. Not yet Lowe, not yet.
Waters looking to sit in guard and control but Lowe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Waters tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lowe throwing strikes from guard but Waters blocks nicely.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lowe gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Waters lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Waters trying to control the position from guard on top but Lowe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lowe controls Waters momentarily but Waters frees himself.

Waters is fighting to break Lowe's control of his arms but Lowe is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lowe darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Lowe looks gassed!
Waters slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Waters is on top in guard.
Waters forces his way into half guard.

Lowe is defending against the submission attempts here by Waters.
Lowe is looking to control Waters's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lowe avoid being mounted?
Waters stops Lowe from getting back to his feet.
Waters wants to control but Lowe is keeping him busy.
Waters is trying to work for a kimura but Lowe is defending well.
Waters working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Waters shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lowe's guard.
Lowe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Waters is one step ahead there.
Waters with a flurry of punches that miss.
Waters won't allow Lowe to get back to his feet.
Waters has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Waters content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Waters accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Waters pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lowe is keeping the position for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lowe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Waters did well to prevent Lowe getting side control.
Waters trying to hold on to Lowe's head to control him but Lowe postures up.
Waters avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lowe.
Waters moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Lowe content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Waters has locked up a guillotine! Waters's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Lowe is holding on here and Waters must be using up a lot of energy. Lowe has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Waters gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
