Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kileli Pikonu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Pikonu tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Stone has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Pikonu is desperately trying to improve his position but Stone has a good base and remains in mount.
A nice elbow there by Stone.

Stone has control of Pikonu's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pikonu regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Pikonu tries to control the position but Stone now has his back.
Stone keeps control of the position as Pikonu tries to break free.
Stone scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Pikonu looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Stone is trying to stick to Pikonu's back but Pikonu is turning into Stone. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Stone's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pikonu.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.
Stone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pikonu is one step ahead there.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Stone is trying to control. Pikonu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Stone fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pikonu sprawls well initially but Stone persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Pikonu tries to get to full guard but Stone has control of the leg.

Stone is looking for a kimura but Pikonu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stone to get the leverage.
Pikonu is looking for a sweep. Stone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Stone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pikonu keeps working.

Stone is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pikonu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stone.

Pikonu is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Stone.
Pikonu struggling a bit here.
Stone looking to control but instead Pikonu has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stone thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Stone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pikonu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pikonu pushes down on Stone's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Stone tries to roll over but Pikonu keeps him under control.

Stone wants to control but Pikonu postures up.
Pikonu lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Stone down.
Stone prevents Pikonu from moving into mount.
Stone is not content to let Pikonu control the position.

Stone is in a horrible position here. Pikonu smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Pikonu prevents Stone from getting the reversal.
Stone has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Stone wants to control from the top but Pikonu keeps moving.

Stone working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pikonu's head.
Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pikonu is keeping the position for now.
Stone chips away with some ground and pound.
Stone wants to control from the top but Pikonu keeps moving.

Pikonu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pikonu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kileli Pikonu will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!



Stone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pikonu wants to sweep but Stone has passed to side control!
Pikonu tries to bench press Stone off him but Stone keeps the position.

Stone goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pikonu has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stone but great work by Pikonu.

Pikonu is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stone has escaped the position, nice work there.
Stone regains half guard.
Stone is pressing down on Pikonu's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Pikonu wants to pass the guard but Stone is keeping the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Pikonu drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pikonu has Stone in his guard.

Stone tries to free his leg and advance position but Pikonu is retaining full guard.

Jack Stone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
