Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ebanij Nasos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nasos might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Military Soviet Hymn . Perry has chosen In Time as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Shawn Perry enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ebanij Nasos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Perry!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasos lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nasos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Perry drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nasos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Perry is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Perry pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nasos is keeping the position for now.
Perry prevents Nasos from getting back to his feet.

Nasos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Perry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Perry manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Perry is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Nasos has his foot on Perry's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Perry works his way back into a safe position though.
Perry not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Nasos has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Nasos is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Despite being in the dominant position, Shawn Perry just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Perry closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Perry prevents Nasos from improving his position.
Perry is controlling the pace.

Perry uses his free foot to push down on Nasos's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nasos.
Nasos wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Nasos is looking to improve his position but Perry isn't that keen on the idea.

Nasos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Perry is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ebanij Nasos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nasos misses the shot to the body.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nasos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Perry gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Nasos is breathing heavily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nasos wants to sweep but no luck.
Perry controlling from the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Shawn Perry will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nasos throws a right and a left that Perry avoids nicely.

Perry is looking to take a break and control but Nasos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Perry staying calm.
You can see the frustration on Nasos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Perry throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nasos was covering up waiting for the punch and Perry finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Nasos has his feet on Perry's thighs here. He's pushed Perry off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Perry screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
