Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buck Savage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fillet Fish!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish misses with a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fish.

Savage shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Savage stands up over Fish, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fish is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fish escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Savage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fish really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Savage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
BOOM! Savage connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Savage has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Savage blocks Fish's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Savage wants to finish this one by submission but Fish is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Savage.
Savage is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fish can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Fish is trying desperately to improve position.

Savage postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fish looks a forlorn figure.

Savage cracks Fish with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The referee warns Fish that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Savage is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fish has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fish is bucking up trying to escape but Savage cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Savage cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Savage is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Savage!
