Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santoria pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Martinez wants to clinch.
Martinez is looking to clinch but Santoria is avoiding it.
No luck for Martinez with that takedown attempt.
Martinez throws a head kick but Santoria moves out of range.

Martinez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Santoria, pushing him back against the cage.

Santoria pulls guard successfully.
Santoria pulls Martinez in close to prevent any damage.

Santoria is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Martinez thows a big elbow that misses.

Martinez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Santoria is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Santoria has escaped and now he's on top!

Santoria closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Santoria tries to advance to mount but Martinez denies him.
Santoria is looking to take a break and control but Martinez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Martinez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Martinez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Santoria wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Martinez is keen to just control but Santoria is a slippery customer.

Martinez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Santoria tries to circle away but Martinez has him pinned against the cage.

Martinez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

so Santoria counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Martinez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Martinez throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Martinez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Santoria gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Martinez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Santoria defends well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Martinez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Santoria trying to control but Martinez is working from the bottom.
Martinez controls Santoria momentarily but Santoria frees himself.
Martinez looking for a sweep. Not yet Martinez, not yet.

Martinez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Santoria can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Martinez throws a lazy head kick

and Santoria counters with a nice double leg into side control. Martinez won't be happy with that.
Martinez is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Santoria has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Martinez manages to work his way to half guard, despite Santoria's best efforts.
Santoria wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martinez keeps working.

Santoria got a little sloppy there for a moment and Martinez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Santoria has managed to get both his arms back between Martinez's legs - danger averted.
Martinez will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Martinez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Santoria doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Santoria manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Martinez is wriggling around but Santoria manages to pass to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Santoria has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Martinez to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Santoria is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Martinez pulls down on the head and he's put Santoria to sleep! This one is all over!
