Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunner State (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Spade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). State comes to the cage accompanied by thunderstruck. Spade comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ace Of Spades kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Gunner State has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spade chopping away at his opponent's legs.

State shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Spade is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but State pulls his head out easily.
Spade is trying to stand.
Spade is holding on to half guard well.
Spade is looking to improve his position.
Spade manages to get to full guard.
Spade looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Spade looking for a guillotine here but State defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spade is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Spade looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! State has picked Spade up and slammed him! Spade can't keep hold of the triangle and State manages to pass to side control!
Spade is not content to let State control the position.
State is breathing heavily.
Spade is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Spade is looking to improve his position.
Spade is trying to control but can't.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Spade kicks off State and gets to his feet.

Spade shoots in and bounces State off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Spade drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Spade jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
State looking to hit a scissor sweep but Spade is one step ahead there.
Spade is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Spade trying to control the position from guard on top but State is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Despite being in the dominant position, Johnny Spade just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
State misses with a takedown attempt - Spade sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Spade drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

State working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Spade doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Spade manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's time! State's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

State fails in his attempt to clinch.

State looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Spade is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of State's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take State's back!
Will Spade go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

I really don't envy State right now.
The referee is taking a good look at State as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Spade!
State is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Spade lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Spade has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. State is defending well but eventually Spade manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! State has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
