Orellana comes to the cage accompanied by Black Betty. Santiago comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DMX- What's my name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Franklin Orellana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Estefan Santiago!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santiago looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Santiago stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Orellana gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Orellana stuffs the takedown attempt from Santiago. Santiago gets slowly back to his feet.

Orellana drives through and clinches with Santiago against the cage.

Orellana jumps guard and drags Santiago to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Orellana is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Santiago is just riding it out for now. Orellana eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Santiago moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Orellana works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Orellana is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Orellana seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Franklin Orellana will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Orellana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Santiago paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Orellana counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Santiago is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Franklin Orellana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Estefan Santiago.

Orellana shoots in for a takedown but Santiago shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
