Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between punch master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and normal guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, punch master!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, normal guy!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
master uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from guy.
master throws a series of punches but guy avoids them all with ease.
master swinging wilding here.
master looks to land a combination but guy avoids it well.

master moves into the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from master.
A short left from master.

master manages to break the clinch.
guy scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like punch master has been cut.
master looks to land a combination but guy avoids it well.
guy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
master scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

guy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
master is in all sorts of trouble here.
guy avoids the attempt from master to control.
guy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Let's hope that guy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
master is working to get back to half guard.
master tries to lock up and control but guy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
master tries to reverse the position but guy maintains control.
guy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Despite being in the dominant position, normal guy just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
guy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
master throws a series of punches but guy moves out of range.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

master swings wildly with an uppercut but guy uses good head movement to avoid it.

master throws a series of strikes that have guy backpedaling.
master lands with a slapping head kick.
guy avoids the head kick by master.
master fails to land with a series of punches.
guy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
master wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
master shoots for a double leg takedown but guy sprawls well. He's pushed master's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
master bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
master tries to clinch but guy moves out of range.
master misses with a series of wild punches.
punch master is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

master swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That was a close second round but I would say that punch master will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on punch master's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

guy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to punch master.
