And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonas Villa!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruffo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Villa moves away.
Villa misses with a straight left.
Gruffo swings for the body but Villa moves out of range.
Gruffo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Villa.
Gruffo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
An inside leg kick from Villa misses.
Gruffo throws a hook but Villa avoids it easily.
Gruffo takes a swing at Villa's ribcage but misses.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Villa and Gruffo goes tumbling to the canvas! Villa follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Gruffo is rocked!
It looks like Beno Gruffo has been cut.
Villa wants to pass to mount but Gruffo is defending the position.
Oh Gruffo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Villa stands up and beckons Gruffo to join him on the feet.
Gruffo seems to have got his legs back now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Villa is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gruffo flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gruffo is out cold! Villa holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jonas Villa!
