Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Farson decides to stand back up.
Kelly Wells seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Farson shoots in and drives through. Wells sprawls well.
Wells slaps away a takedown attempt from Farson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A telegraphed right hand from Wells misses the target.
Farson shoots in but Wells avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kelly Wells has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Farson.
Wells bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Farson's head backwards.
Farson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Farson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wells sprawls well. Wells wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Farson gets slowly back to his feet.

Wells throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Wells walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Farson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Wells swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Farson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
