Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johan Engels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Engels misses with a jab, cross combination.
Amached has a takedown stuffed.
Amached gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Amached isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Engels stacks Amached on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Engels!
Amached throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Amached tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Engels presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Amached is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Engels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Amached on the ground.

Amached is wriggling around trying to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Amached sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Amached wants to improve his position but Engels is controlling well.

Engels will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Engels is looking to advance position but Amached won't allow it.

Amached is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

It looks like Vassily Amached has been cut.
Engels lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Amached backs up against the ropes.
Engels throws a right and a left that Amached avoids nicely.

Engels fails to land with a series of punches.
Engels misses with a wild combination.
Engels closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Amached did well to prevent Engels getting side control.

Engels lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Engels.

Amached doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Engels counters with a three punch combo that has Amached backing up. Amached nods at Engels to acknowledge the strikes.

Engels lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Amached is looking to close the distance but Engels sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Amached crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Amached is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
