Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Heurelho King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richard Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King thows a left - swing and a miss!
Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.
King throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnson.
King misses with an uppercut.
Johnson ducks under a wild hook from King.
King throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.
King throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.
King misses with a looping right.
King misses the jab.
A jab from King misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King cracks Johnson with a good jab.

Johnson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from King finds it's way round the side to connect with Johnson's head.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Johnson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as King throws out the jab.
King throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johnson.

Johnson has gone for a leg lock! King slips out almost immediately though and dives into Johnson's guard.
