Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jamie beljorgo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). beljorgo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by dmx dogs out. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
beljorgo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gracie sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gracie could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
beljorgo shoots in but no luck this time.

Gracie has closed the distance and engaged beljorgo in a clinch.
beljorgo jumps guard but Gracie stands there with beljorgo around his waist. beljorgo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rickson Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jamie beljorgo.

beljorgo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
beljorgo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Gracie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows beljorgo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Gracie is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.
beljorgo wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed beljorgo's guard.
Gracie wants to take a breather but beljorgo is having none of it.
Gracie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Gracie landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
beljorgo looks gassed!

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so beljorgo is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

beljorgo is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Gracie has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! beljorgo is tapping! This fight is all over!
