Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Gannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuddles Mackenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mackenzie has chosen Bitter Peace by Slayer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Cuddles Mackenzie struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Cuddles Mackenzie!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gannon is defended easily by Mackenzie.

Mackenzie shoots in and bounces Gannon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mackenzie wants to control from the top but Gannon keeps moving.

Mackenzie decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mackenzie tries to close the distance and clinch but Gannon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Gannon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mackenzie defends it well.

Gannon wants to free his trapped foot but Mackenzie is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Gannon is keen to just control but Mackenzie is a slippery customer.
Gannon is really struggling to control Mackenzie but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Mackenzie won't allow Gannon to pass to mount.

Gannon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mackenzie is just riding it out for now. Gannon eventually gives up the hold.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Mackenzie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mackenzie.

Mackenzie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mackenzie wants to sweep but no luck.

Gannon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mackenzie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gannon.

Gannon stands and throws Mackenzie's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Gannon has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gannon feints and as Mackenzie raises his hands in defense, Gannon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gannon wants to get up but he can't break Mackenzie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
