Odhran has chosen The Cranberries - Zombie as his entrance music. Kegan Odhran is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGillicuddy throws a series of punches but Odhran moves out of range.
McGillicuddy tries to clinch there but Odhran circles away.
McGillicuddy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McGillicuddy tries to close the distance and clinch but Odhran swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Odhran is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McGillicuddy pulls his head out easily.

McGillicuddy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Odhran on the ground.

McGillicuddy slips a nice elbow through Odhran's hands, connecting with Odhran's forehead.

McGillicuddy wants to take a breather but Odhran is having none of it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McGillicuddy connects with a nice short shot to Odhran's temple.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McGillicuddy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McGillicuddy fails in his attempt to clinch.

Odhran closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Odhran tries to pass to full mount but McGillicuddy defends it.

McGillicuddy makes his way to full guard, as Odhran worked for a kimura.
McGillicuddy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
McGillicuddy can't keep his opponent in guard - Odhran advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jimbo McGillicuddy dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

McGillicuddy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McGillicuddy doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Odhran counters with a nice double leg into side control. McGillicuddy won't be happy with that.

Odhran tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Odhran has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
McGillicuddy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Odhran is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McGillicuddy is just riding it out for now. Odhran eventually gives up the hold.
McGillicuddy manages to get to full guard.

Odhran drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and McGillicuddy dives on top into guard.

Odhran working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McGillicuddy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McGillicuddy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Odhran isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. McGillicuddy stacks Odhran on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by McGillicuddy!
McGillicuddy is looking to take a break and control but Odhran is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McGillicuddy wants to stand but Odhran is controlling his arm.
Odhran sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kegan Odhran has got the better of the ground game so far.

Odhran has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for McGillicuddy. Oh but Odhran has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! McGillicuddy goes limp - he's gone! Odhran jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
