The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lanigan misses with the combination.
Speedman throws a hook to the side of Lanigan's head but Lanigan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Speedman lands a slapping body shot.
Speedman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Speedman misses with a takedown attempt - Lanigan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Speedman misses with a wild body shot.
Lanigan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Speedman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Speedman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lanigan is trying to defend but Speedman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Speedman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lanigan defend it? Speedman steps over the head and cranks it - Lanigan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Speedman!
