The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Takahashi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Takahashi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A head kick misses from Winner.
Winner scores with a head kick.
Winner misses with the combination.
Winner scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Winner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Winner wants it to stay on the feet.
Takahashi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Winner sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Takahashi somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kushin Takahashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Takahashi fails with the takedown.
A head kick from Winner lands but Takahashi takes it in his stride.
Takahashi closes the distance and clinches up with Winner, looking for a takedown. Takahashi pushes Winner against the ropes but Winner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Winner's corner calls for a 1-2. Winner obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Winner drops Takahashi with a beautiful combination! Takahashi stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Winner is looking for the KO!

Winner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Oh Takahashi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Winner lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Takahashi crumples to the floor! Winner milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
