Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brighton Early!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ja moves away from the strike by Early.
Ja moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Early slips a jab and a cross from Ja.

Ja moves into range and clinches up with Early.
Early wants a takedown.
Ja lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Early.
Early jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ja walks away with a smile on his face. Early gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Early shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ja defends it nicely.
Pablo Ja has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brighton Early.

Ja throws a left that rocks Early and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Ja dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Early regain composure!

Early is rocked!

It looks like Brighton Early has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ja decides to stand back up.
Early looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Ja moves into the clinch.

Nice body punch from Ja - that landed with a thud.
Ja dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Ja.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ja takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Early prevents Ja from breaking the clinch.
Early is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Ja blocks an elbow strike from Early.
Early tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ja smiles and moves away.
Ja throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ja connects with a body shot.
Early looks gassed!
Nice sprawl there from Ja as Early shoots in.
Pablo Ja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Early avoids a punch combination nicely.

Ja lands a left and a right that sends Early crashing to the canvas! Ja dives into mount looking to finish!
Early is still in real trouble! Can Ja finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ja stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Early seems to have recovered his senses.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Ja and Early goes tumbling to the canvas! Ja follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Ja is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Ja stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Ja connects with a superb combination that knocks Early out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Ja before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Early!
