Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gonzolaz Martz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and German Titov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Speedy Gonzales. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martz moves in looking to clinch but Titov pushes him off.

and Martz counters with a shoot takedown. Titov fights it but they end up in guard.

Martz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Titov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Titov has escaped and now he's on top!
Titov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Martz manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gonzolaz Martz will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Martz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Titov was covering up waiting for the punch and Martz finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Titov scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Titov is desperately trying to improve his position but Martz has a good base and remains in mount.

Martz has hold of Titov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Titov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Titov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Martz's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Martz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
