Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pete Higgedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armpit Stain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Higgedy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fort Minor - In Stereo. Armpit Stain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Armpit Stain!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higgedy tries to clinch up.
Higgedy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Higgedy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stain paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Higgedy misses with a low kick as Stain jumps back.
Higgedy throws a nice looking combination but Stain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Higgedy looks to land a combination but Stain avoids it well.
Higgedy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Higgedy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stain manages to avoid it.

Higgedy throws a push kick but Stain slaps the foot to one side.
Pete Higgedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stain is on top in guard.

Higgedy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stain manages to get himself to full guard.
Stain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Higgedy is one step ahead there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stain tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Stain is looking to sweep but instead, Higgedy has passed into half guard.
Higgedy wants to pass to mount but Stain is defending the position.

Well Higgedy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
