PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jean Claude Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mousasi comes into the arena with Hi-Gate: Pitchin blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Mousasi looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gracie is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mousasi scores with a couple of nice shots.

Mousasi stands up and beckons Gracie to join him on the feet.
Gracie walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gracie misses with a head kick.

Mousasi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mousasi goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gracie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mousasi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mousasi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
No joy there for Mousasi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
