Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moyses Flamengo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans's entrance music is Pursuit of Happiness. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evans has taken the fight to the clinch.
Evans could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Evans has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Flamengo regains guard immediately.
Evans loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Flamengo has a closed guard, preventing Evans from standing up.
Evans wants to control from the top but Flamengo keeps moving.

Flamengo has momentary wrist control but Evans slips an elbow through the middle.

Evans lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Flamengo down.

Flamengo shoots for a double leg takedown but Evans sprawls well. He's pushed Flamengo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rashad Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moyses Flamengo.
Evans tries to land a front kick but Flamengo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Evans decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

and Evans counters with a single leg into guard. Flamengo didn't expect that.

Evans throws a big right hand that misses.
Evans postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Flamengo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Flamengo maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Evans could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Flamengo has cracked it and Evans is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Flamengo!
